Dealing With Nail Holes and Scuff Marks Before Moving Out

In this video, Mark Lister of Blackbird Realty and Management, Inc. reminds us of what to do and what not to do before moving out of your home. In order to make our rental properties a comfortable home for you, we understand that some decorations will be put up. Decorating your home is perfectly fine, but please remember to avoid filling up the nail holes you leave behind. Spackling nail holes can lead to little white marks all over the property's walls, forcing us to charge extra to repaint. Please remember to leave the holes as it is. The same can be said for scuff marks. We will greatly appreciate it if you could clean out the scuff marks yourself, but if the scuff marks won't come off with a simple cleaning, please do not attempt to paint over the marks. Any sign of uneven paint on the property's walls would mean additional charges for another paint job.
