Property Management Las Vegas: Liability

Las Vegas landlords who own investment property and are looking to hire a property manager need to ask about two key coverages. These are professional liability, which is also known as Errors & Omissions, and general liability. The general liability insurance will cover anything that happens at the office as well as employees when they go out and show your property or cause damage.

Property Management Office Coverage

Another coverage under general liability insurance is your physical office. If something happens like a fire, a theft, or a break in, and you have missing office equipment, those claims will be covered under general liability. You’ll also receive coverage for when an employee is running an errand in their car. If something happens, the loss will be covered under the non-owned auto coverage part of your policy.
