Moving Out Informational Video 2019

When you're going to move out, we need to know the day you're moving out. You've given us a 30-day notice, and its 30 days from now. We'd like to come and get the keys from you or we'd like to know the day that the property is empty. I don't want you to be calling me that you're on your way to Missouri and the property has been empty for a week. I want to take possession of the property from you. If that means that we need to meet you at the property, or you want to drop those keys off at our office, or we meet you someplace to pick up the keys, I want to do that.

If you'd like to have someone to be physically present at your property, we can do that, but in reality that serves no purpose. No one is going to be at the property that makes the decision that you get the entire or partial security deposit back. We're going to take pictures and video of the property and compare them to the condition of the property before you moved in and after you moved out. If what is damaged is "normal wear" then you will not be charged for it. Normal wear is damage that occurs that is not a result of negligence. If I have to send someone in because you didn't clean, then I will have to charge you for it. I would encourage you to call the carpet company that we use to clean carpets, they give us a great price on cleaning carpets and they would give the same price to you. I need you to clean the property as good as the condition of the property will allow.

When you leave the property, do not set the door guardian and go out through the garage. Leave the door guardian off on the front door so that we can come in using the key. If you have any questions, give us a call.
