Subleasing and Running a Business in the Home

If you are thinking of subletting or running a business within a rental property that you have leased from us, please let us know before doing so. Subletting a property that you have leased from us requires a written approval from us. Please make sure to let us know if somebody else will be moving in to the property so that we can run a background check on them first.   Running a business from a property you have leased from us is prohibited. Turning the property into an AirBnB home is considered running a business. AirBnB is the largest hotel in the world, and your lease agreement with us does not permit you to run a hotel within our properties. The properties we lease out are only residential and city ordinance requires a special permit for a residential property to be used like a hotel.   Allowing someone else to move into the home and allowing the home to be used like a hotel are direct violations of your lease and could lead to legal disputes. Please do not violate our lease agreement. If you do have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
